B.C. man acquitted on loaded-gun charges
A Sechelt man found with two loaded firearms in his bedroom was acquitted on a series of charges because the judge thought it reasonable to have the guns in case of an attack by wild animals. Judge Steven Merrick found Bruce Peter Nicholson not guilty on four charges related to an altecation with a tenant on his rural Sechelt property in May 2010.
